This harem jumpsuit has officially become my outfit for the summer. Not kidding when I say they have served me well in a pinch. Sure, they’re not easy to wear and they require a belt so I won’t look like a hefty bag. And they absolutely need heels … Otherwise, I look like a cross between Aladdin and MC Hammer with flats. But for BlogHer 14 parties, Latino Fashion Week and last night’s Beyonce and Jay Z’s concert – They’ve been beyond perfect. They’re comfortable, chic and too legit to quit (OK. I’ll stop now).

After declaring that I was going to do Friday recaps, I skipped last week and opted for . My little sister lives in Ecuador and flew in to stay with us for the rest of summer so it’s been very busy. She’s 11, and I can’t wait for you to meet her all. She will make her appearance on the blog soon enough. In the meantime, I’m working on a two week recap, which is turning out to be the mother of all blog posts but I love capturing moments and sharing them all.
